Aqueduct Cancels Dec. 5 Card Due to High Winds

The New York Racing Association canceled racing Dec. 5 at Aqueduct Racetrack due to high winds forecast to impact New York City throughout the day.

The National Weather Service calls for sustained high winds on Thursday with gusts approaching 50 miles per hour. New York City is currently under a high wind advisory. As a result of these conditions, NYRA has canceled Thursday’s eight-race card at the Aqueduct.

Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting. Racing is scheduled to resume Nov. 6 at Aqueduct with an eight-race card.
