A Very Getty Evening: A Family Affair in the Middle of New York Fashion Week

It was a good time indeed. Guests entered through Rosetta Getty’s showroom, where RG’s Spring 2025 collection was being previewed, and Violet Getty’s drop was complimented with screen-printed T-shirts to take home. “With my printed shirts, I want people to see a different side of my mom because I think people are super curious about her—she likes to keep to herself—but I wanted people to see how cool she is,” Violet says. “My mom and I have been so connected to fashion for so long, and we’ve been best friends forever, so bringing my collection to life has meant so much to me. Having her trust has meant the world, and I think she’s super happy and proud, which is all I really want.”

Into the elevator and a short flight later, the doors opened into the family’s stately living room. Up a set of stairs, Ivy Getty, Julius Getty, Grace Getty, Harlow Arquette, Frankie Stark, and more were mingling about on the terrace, sipping Agua Magica mezcal cocktails, Rosetta’s own virgin mojito, and bottles of cold beer, and dancing to tunes spun by Arman Nafeei.

Four words to sum up the evening? One big happy family.
