Osteopathic Medicine, D.O.
NYITCOM’s Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. program offers two curricular tracks in the first two years: a faculty-led Lecture-Discussion Based (LDB) systems-based format and a Doctor Patient Continuum, a learner-led, problem-based curriculum.
Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. / Medical & Biological Sciences, Ph.D.
The combined D.O./Ph.D. degree in Medical and Biological Sciences is a highly competitive seven-year program designed to develop well-trained osteopathic physician-scientists who will drive the practice of medicine into the future through groundbreaking research.
When deciding on medical school, I was heavily considering schools that were close to home, had a strong reputation, and fostered a supportive community environment. NYITCOM checked all the boxes and then some!

NYITCOM offers medical education in Old Westbury, N.Y. (a suburb of New York City, just 45 minutes away) and Jonesboro, Ark. (on the campus of Arkansas State University).
