A&E Television Can Take Business Tax Deduction, NYC Court Says
A&E Television Networks LLC is entitled to a New York City unincorporated business tax deduction for expenses that are also deductible under federal law, a city judge ruled.
“A determination of whether a particular item is ‘directly connected with or incurred in the conduct of the business’ must be made under the applicable federal standard, New York City Tax Appeals Tribunal Administrative Law Judge Jarrett S. Kalish said in an opinion posted Wednesday.
