1. Chloé’s Capsule Collection For Chinese New Year 2025

Easily one of the hottest brands in fashion right now, Chloé’s got you all sorted out for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations at the end of January with its capsule drop of snake-themed pieces. Silhouettes here largely reference classic separates—think breezy tees, sporty bomber jackets and clingy knits—and all of them work in the snake motif in a sexy, stylish way. The brand’s Bracelet hobo bag gets a chili-red update, and look out for the introduction of its newest sneaker style: the Kick, which comes in classic white leather and draws its inspiration from boxing shoes.

2. Louis Vuitton Launches A Murakami Pop-Up In Joo Chiat

The much-anticipated Louis Vuitton collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami returns, and to showcase this, Louis Vuitton is set to launch an experiential pop-up in the heart of Joo Chiat. From 4 to 19 January, the shophouse at 72 Joo Chiat Place will welcome visitors with a façade decorated with Murakami’s iconic smiley flowers. The four main zones in the space will span a retail section, cinema, cafe and a care station with an aim of creating a seamless shopping experience as you go from browsing the collection to stopping for a mid-shopping refuel. This pop-up store will be the only one in Southeast Asia, and joins six other cities in hosting shoppers within a specially-constructed space to celebrate the re-edition collection.

3. Bottega Veneta Shines The Spotlight On Artisanal Craft With “Bottega For Bottegas”

As a House synonymous with craft, it only makes sense that Bottega Veneta would work with small-scale artisans in a bid to showcase and highlight their time-honed skills to a global audience. In its fourth release, the “Bottega for Bottegas” showcase has picked six artisans from within or around Venice to be featured. Each item that the artists contributed speaks to the history and culture of Venice: there are adorable wooden block puzzles of Venetian buildings by Signor Blum, Murano glass creations by Laguna~B and a brass winged lion—the symbol of Venice itself—from the workshops of Fonderia Artistica Valese.

4. Kim Ye Ji, Romeo Beckham And More Star In Balenciaga’s New Campaign

Remember the Olympics in July, where the world first met South Korean professional shooter Kim Ye Ji? Well, Kim’s going to add a new job title to her resume: she’s now a Balenciaga model as well. Lensed by Juergen Teller, the campaign—wryly titled “This is a Balenciaga Campaign”—features Kim alongside a series of other friends of the House in Paris. Joined by the likes of Romeo Beckham, Kim Petras and more, the collection of images highlight Balenciaga’s streetwear leanings and its line of leather handbags, all set against chairs strewn in the streets of Paris. It’s tongue-in-cheek humour meets fashion, which is so Balenciaga.

5. Loewe Returns For Another Collaboration With Suna Fujita

On the topic of playful fashion, Loewe has reprised its partnership with Kyoto-based ceramics artists Suna Fujita to reimagine the House’s icons in a whimsical light. This time, the husband-and-wife studio looks towards capturing the wonder and magic of childhood dreams, conjuring playful sea creatures, hopping meadow critters and so on. Highlights include a beaded leather Flamenco clutch in multi-coloured dots, a shearling jacket spliced with a giant squid and small cardholders featuring giant hamsters. Perfect for starting the new year on a lighthearted note.
