As Aaron Rodgers Welcomes Davante Adams to New York, the Raiders Must Navigate Quarterback Struggles While Targeting Key Offensive Prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft | NFL News – Times of India

The Las Vegas Raiders are a bit desperate about acquiring themselves some skilled offensive players. Considering the quarterback issues, and now trading one of their better wide receivers in Davante Adams over to the New York Jets. That’s really what has fired up the discussions on the direction of this team or what playmakers to look for in the 2025 NFL draft.

A Few Potential Quarterbacks Before the 2025 Draft

But the futures of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in the NFL can just as easily revolve around which gives the Raiders the best potential available at the 2025 NFL draft.Perhaps the two most recognizable names that are going to fit together to come announce are going to be Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, a quarterback in Sanders who already has shown he can come through in big-time situations, and a dual-threat wideout in Hunter, meaning he is likely going to be a true full-time wide receiver at the pro level.

Raider First-Round Options if Instead of Adams Bolster the QB Position

While Sanders and Hunter would be just fine enough to fill in the gap for Adams, the Raiders have a much deeper level of first-round prospects beyond these two who would either help replace Adams or strengthen the quarterback position. Some of the persons include Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, and Missouri wideout Luther Burden III.

Draft Positioning and Future Outlook

Well, with just one selection in seven rounds of the 2025 NFL draft, the Raiders have very few remaining choices at this point. Posting a disastrous record of 2-4 to start the season, the Raiders certainly have enough room to take full advantage of this chance for a first-round draft in the top ten.
This draft capital will be used to the fullest by the Raiders as they embark from this point in their quest to rebuild and fill up some gaps in the roster.

Raiders at Crossroads

What the draft picks more than anything will decide who this franchise shall be from here on out. With emerging talents like Sanders and Hunter with several first-round selections, one could always hope that this Raiders team can somehow get back to some competitive footing.
