Bentley set to travel to New York for a conference battle at Pace – Bentley University

WALTHAM, Mass. – Following a week in which a couple of Falcons turned in top-10 all-time performances, the Bentley football team heads to New York this weekend for a Northeast-10 clash at Pace Saturday, Oct. 5. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
 
Top dog
Senior wideout Rashon Bradford had seven catches for 197 receiving yards and three touchdowns at home against New Haven last week (Sept. 28). Two of his three touchdown catches went for more than 70 yards. His 197 receiving yards ranks 9^th all-time for a single game in Bentley history. Bradford enters this weekend leading the NE10 in receptions (31), receiving yards (599), and receiving touchdowns (7).
 
Pulling out all the stops
Graduate student Brett Pullman threw for 477 yards against New Haven, marking the fourth-most passing yards in a game in school history. He also threw five touchdown passes, including a 77-yard strike to Bradford. Pullman’s 1,263 passing yards this season ranks second in the NE10 – just one yard away from being tied for the lead.
 
It’s me, Marciano
Nick Marciano had a career day against New Haven. The graduate student wide receiver caught seven passes for 90 yards, both of which are personal bests.
 
Bank on Hank
Junior linebacker Henry Schouten leads the NE10 in tackles with 50. He earned D2football.com Player of the Week for defense following his 19-tackle performance in the home-opening win over Southern Connecticut (Sept. 20). Schouten has at recorded at least 1.0 tackle for a loss in three of four games this season.
 
Decias gets his first
Senior wide receiver Isaiah Decias caught his first-career touchdown pass during the game against New Haven. He has 14 catches for 150 yards this season.

Scouting Pace (1-3, 1-1 NE10)
The Setts are averaging 16.5 points per game this season, which ranks second-to-last in the NE10. On the other side of the ball, the defense ranks second-to-last in points allowed per game (39.3). The Setters’ lone win this season is against Post, 23-21 (Sept. 21). Ah-Shaun Davis has 968 passing yards to go with seven touchdowns and six picks in 2024. Anthony Robinson is the team’s leading rusher with 138 yards through four games. Defensively, four different Setters have one interception, and only two players have tallied a sack this fall.
