Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Knicks vs. 76ers in Game 6

The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers will continue their thrilling first-round series in the 2024 NBA Playoffs Thursday evening with Game 6 from the City of Brotherly Love. The Knicks will attempt close out this series, something they were unable to do in Game 5 at home, while the 76ers try to send this series back to New York for a decisive Game 7.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite player prop bets to target for Game 6 Thursday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tyrese Maxey under 26.5 points (–108)

Maybe it’s something about Madison Square Garden that gets Maxey going. The guard went well over this line in all three games in New York, but stayed under this line in both home contests so far. He’s coming off an absolutely clutch showing in Game 5, where he hit two three-point shots late to send the contest to overtime. I think the Knicks shift their focus defensively to containing the point guard, which means Maxey potentially stays under this line as he defers to others in the Philadelphia offense.

Jalen Brunson over 7.5 assists (-105)

Brunson has emerged as an absolute star for New York, setting a franchise record for most points in a playoff game in Game 4. He’s gone for 40+ points in each of the last two games but the assist numbers have also been there. Brunson is averaging 8.4 assists per game in this series, and hit double-digit assists in both games in Philly. Even though he’s on a scoring tear, I think he tries to get his teammates involved and goes over this line.

Joel Embiid over 41.5 points + rebounds (-108)

After going for 50 points in Game 3, Embiid has come back to Earth a bit over the next two games. He’s averaging 23 points and 13 rebounds, which is an impressive line but far below his lofty MVP standards. The knee injury is still an issue, although it hasn’t prevented him from suiting up. After some lackluster performances last year in Games 6 and 7 against the Celtics, I thik Embiid bounces back in a big way this time in Game 6. Look for him to go over this mark in a dominant showing.

Josh Hart over 11.5 rebounds (+105)

It looks insane for a guard’s rebounding line to be set this high, but Hart is not your average guard. He logged 8.3 rebounds per game during the regular season and has pushed that number to 12 boards per game in the playoffs. The Knicks have been somewhat depleted on the interior with Julius Randle out and Mitchell Robinson limited by injuries. That has allowed Hart to step into a bigger role on the glass. Even though it’s a high line, I think he is able to go over it in Game 6.
