Best Pacers player prop bets to consider for Game 1 vs. Celtics

After a road Game 7 win where they set a playoff record for shooting percentage, the Indiana Pacers will head to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Boston Celtics. These teams met five times during the regular season, including a contest in a knockout round of the In-Season Tournament which Indiana won.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite Pacers player prop bets to target for Game 1 Tuesday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Pascal Siakam under 20.5 points (-118)

Indiana’s star forward went over this mark three times in the seven games against the Knicks. He had two amazing scoring showings to open the postseason before cooling off a bit, and will find things difficult against Boston’s versatile defensive setup. The Celtics have great individual defenders who can also switch with ease on Siakam, who saw favorable matchups against New York once OG Anunoby went down. While I don’t see him struggling in terms of efficiency, I think Siakam sees less opportunities and goes under this line.

Tyrese Haliburton under 3.5 3-pointers (-115)

Haliburton canned six triples in Sunday’s Game 7, shooting 50% from deep. He’s gone through hot and cold stretches from the perimeter, which makes sense given his 36.4% mark from there in the regular season. He went over this mark in three straight games against New York but then had two down outings before Sunday’s explosion. The Celtics are good at defending the perimeter and will take note of Haliburton’s Game 7 performance. I think he gets bottled up from behind the arc Tuesday evening.

Andrew Nembhard over 4.5 assists (+114)

The second-year Pacers guard has quietly been racking up assists of late in the postseason. He’s gone over this mark in four of the last five games, with his lone under coming at four assists. He’s logged at least four assists in 11 of the 13 games these playoffs and is entrenched as a starter for this team. If the Celtics take the ball out of Haliburton’s hands, look for Nembhard to continue his strong form in this category. I like him to hit the over on this line again in Game 1.
