Beyoncé’s nephew Julez Smith was among a bevy of high-profile guests who attended the Marc Jacobs x Highsnobiety party during New York Fashion Week on Thursday. The 19-year-old model posed for photos along with such guests as Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams.
For the event, Smith, the son of Beyoncé’s sister Solange Knowles and her ex-husband Daniel Smith, opted for a chic take on sporty dressing. The model wore a vintage HBO Sports jacket in navy and black colorways with red seam lining over a Jacquemus T-shirt. He accessorized the look with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
Along with Smith, Williams made a statement with her attire. The singer, sporting a dusty pink shaggy bob, wore a strapless black leather minidress with a flared skirt.
Williams added a pair of sheer, fingerless black opera gloves and completed the look with a pair of black platform heels with several buckles. Williams’ makeup included black, dotted accents on her eyebrows and black stars beneath her eyes.
Much like his mother and aunt, Smith is making a name for himself in the fashion world. The model made his runway debut at the Luar fall 2024 fashion show during New York Fashion Week last February. On the runway, Smith modeled a voluminous leather coat. Solangé, Beyoncé and Smith’s grandmother, Tina Knowles, were seated in the front row to support the young model.
Following his success during February’s New York Fashion Week, Smith made his Paris Fashion Week debut last June. Smith walked the runway for the Bluemarble spring 2025 show, wearing a shimmering jumpsuit with allover crystal beads. The hoodie of the outfit also included front pockets and the phrase “Are You Lonely? Call Me” embossed on the back.
Prior to his appearance at the Marc Jacobs x Highsnobiety event, Smith modeled a graphic T-shirt at the On Running Clubhouse Nights opening in Brooklyn on Aug. 21. Along with Luar and Bluemarble, Smith has walked the runway for Versace during Milan Fashion Week last February, where the Italian luxury fashion house debuted its fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
