Caleres appoints Nancy Bitetto as SVP of New York brands | Retail News USA

Caleres has appointed Nancy Bitetto as Senior Vice President of New York brands, which include Franco Sarto, Vince, Veronica Beard, and other private label offerings. In this role, Bitetto will focus on driving growth and increasing profitability across the Caleres brand portfolio.

Jay Schmidt, President and CEO of Caleres, highlighted Bitetto’s strong track record in building luxury and contemporary fashion brands. He emphasised that her expertise will be key in advancing the company’s strategic objectives and sustaining growth. “Our top goal is to attract outstanding leadership, and we are sure Nancy will make a substantial contribution to raising shareholder value,” Schmidt said.

Bitetto brings over 20 years of experience in both wholesale and retail, most recently serving at Tory Burch, where she led footwear and jewelry, driving productivity and profitability. She has also held senior positions at Prada North America, Ferragamo, and Sergio Rossi.
