Carlos Alcaraz Declares Love for New York in Latest Ad Campaign – “You Can’t Be Bored Here”
Carlos Alcaraz ended his season on a high note. After an early exit at the ATP Finals in Turin, where he lost to Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev, the World No. 3 took some time off. He then headed to New York for two tennis exhibitions before diving into pre-season training. At the Garden Cup, he dominated the court, defeating Ben Shelton 4-6, 6-2, 7-4 at Madison Square Garden. Although his next match at the Charlotte Invitational ended in a loss to Frances Tiafoe, Alcaraz embraced the experience and beauty of his surroundings.
Having grown up in the quaint but lively village of El Palmar in Murcia, surely the dream of traveling is something that was at the top of the list for young Alcaraz. Now, six years later, he’s living that dream as one of the top three players in the ATP rankings just at the age of 21.
From breaking into the top 100 in 2021 to securing brand deals with fashion giants like Louis Vuitton, Alcaraz has come a long way. Exploring New York City, a place known for its vibrant crowds and towering buildings, he shared his excitement with LV: “For me, it’s great to travel a lot. To see new cultures, new places, new countries. It’s great to be here in New York. You can’t be bored here.”

Alcaraz’s recent matches may have resulted in mixed outcomes, but he values the journey. Ahead of the Garden Cup, he enjoyed an NBA game with Shelton in true American style. Additionally, being the brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton certainly has its perks as Alcaraz got to visit the iconic flagship store where he was “surprised with four different types of trunks from the floor to the roof.”
Louis Vuitton adds a luxurious touch to Alcaraz’s wardrobe. He feels “special” wearing their clothes. Carlos notes, “The quality of their clothes is the best of the best.” After signing with Louis Vuitton in 2023, Alcaraz launched a personalized trunk to hold a selection of his memorabilia and equipment.
Coming back to Alcaraz’s time in New York, Alcaraz was pumped to see the energy of the crowd during exhibition matches:
