Get ready to queue up “We are the Champions,” the Boston Celtics are getting their championship rings tonight.
As is tradition, the Celtics will receive their rings tonight, before playing a season opener against the New York Knicks.
This night will mark the first NBA championship ring for NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and most of the other current Celtics players besides Jrue Holiday, who earned his first NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021.
The Celtics will be raising their 18th banner before the game’s start, cementing the reality of Boston being the franchise with the most NBA championships, beating out the Los Angeles Lakers with their NBA Finals win this past summer.
