Cincinnati Bengals at New York Giants: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 6 game

play

After a stunning victory over the Seattle Seahawks, the New York Giants will look to keep the vibes rolling during Sunday Night Football this weekend. Their opponents, the Cincinnati Bengals, will be looking to turn things around. After a shocking 1-3 start to the season, Cincy had an opportunity to win a massive game against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but let victory slip through their fingers. At 1-4, things are looking grim and a loss on national television to a team they are heavily favored against could mean some changes in the coaching staff are coming soon.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this primetime showdown.

NFL Week 6 odds, predictions and picks

Seahawks vs. 49ers | Bears vs. Jaguars | Ravens vs. Commanders | Packers vs. Cardinals | Patriots vs. Texans | Saints vs. Buccaneers | Eagles vs. Browns | Titans vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Chargers | Raiders vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Falcons | Cowboys vs. Lions | Giants vs. Bengals  | Jets vs. Bills

Lorenzo Reyes: Bengals 30, Giants 13

The Giants aren’t built to hang around in shootouts and the Bengals desperately need a win here. Cincy should be hyper-focused, and the offense should continue to produce; despite their poor record, the Bengals have been putting up big numbers in the passing game, now that Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase are both on the field together. I love the Bengals here.

Tyler Dragon: Bengals 27, Giants 20

The 1-4 Bengals’ season hangs in the balance. Cincinnati has a top-5 scoring offense and the second worst scoring defense in the NFL. Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and the offense have to outscore opponents. The Giants don’t typically score a lot of points.

Jordan Mendoza: Bengals 27, Giants 25

The Giants are starting to look like a team that can make noise, while Cincinnati can’t win a close one. However, the Bengals play some desperate ball and get back into the win column.
