Colts vs. Giants, Raiders vs. Saints predictions: NFL Week 17 picks, odds

Indianapolis Colts (-7.5) over NEW YORK GIANTS

Taking anyone against the Giants right now seems like a wise play.

The Giants have mailed it in and face a team that is built to rush the football behind great running back Jonathan Taylor and dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson, assuming he plays.

On a cold day in New Jersey, we tend to think the Giants’ hearts won’t be in this one and Taylor is going to win some people their fantasy football championships.

Add in that the Colts still have an outside shot of making the playoffs and we’ll buy that Indianapolis wins this one rather easily.

Another factor to consider is that the Giants have scored more than 14 points once since benching Daniel Jones and have 32 points (10.7 per game) over their last three losses.

But, hey, the Giants will be one step closer to the No. 1 pick with a loss.

Las Vegas Raiders (-1) over NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Spencer Rattler had one of the worst quarterback performances we’ve seen in a long time on Monday in Green Bay, taking awful sacks and making brutal throws in the cold. He’s just not an NFL quarterback.

Sure, backing a 3-12 Raiders team may not make sense, but we saw last week that the Raiders are not just laying down.

Las Vegas already cost itself the No. 1 pick, so what’s a few extra slots with a fourth win in New Orleans?

There won’t be a ton of points scored in this game, but the Raiders have more weapons and are somehow starting the better quarterback here in the mediocre-at-best Aidan O’Connell.
