Cos returning to catwalk of New York Fashion Week in September
Cos has announced plans to return to New York Fashion Week with a new catwalk show this coming September.
The top-ranked label within the greater H&M group, Cos will present its Autumn/Winter 2024 collection and its Atelier line in New York.
The catwalk display represents a unique opportunity for the brand to show its support for the worlds of fashion, art, music and design, the London-based label stressed in a release.
“New York is a dynamic city with so much character! It’s an inspiring place with lots of interesting creative people. It’s an honor to return for the third year in a row and bring our collections to life on the catwalk in a fantastic new venue,” said Karin Gustafsson, design director at Cos.
The label’s debut show NYFW show dates back to September 2022, when Cos was first accepted on the official listing of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), fashion’s governing body in the United States.
“The CFDA is delighted to welcome Cos back to NYFW. The label’s global presence contributes to the global reach of Fashion Week, and its willingness to return to New York City every year is a testament to our city’s international appeal in terms of creativity and business,” added CFDA CEO Steven Kolb.
Cos’ runway show will take place on September 10 at 13:00 EDT (or 19:00 CET) and will be broadcast live on the cos website. The next edition of the New York runway season will run from Friday, September 6 to Wednesday, September 11.
