Delta Air Lines is upgrading its premium traveler airport experience at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport with the opening of The Delta One Lounge.

The new lounge is located between Councourses A and B in Terminal 4 and offers 39,000 square feet of space for premium travelers holding Delta One tickets. It’s larger than any Delta Sky Club, and features a premium bar, Market and Bakery counter inspired by retro deli counters, 140-seat Brasserie restaurant offering a three-course meal service, nine reservable relaxation pods and much more.

The Delta One Lounge has partnered with luxury Italian fashion house Missoni to offer design touches throughout the elevated space, including accent pillows, vases and coffee table books. The airline also announced that Delta One international travelers will receive a Missoni-branded amenity kit beginning this summer on select flights.

Besides being one of the most design-forward areas of the airport, the Delta One Lounge will offer a 140-seat restaurant featuring dishes like lasagna Bolognese and Hamachi crudo, a walk-up counter for travelers who’d like ready-to-eat fare and a beverage cart service.

Travelers can prepare for their long flights or relax after their international trip with the lounge’s wellness area, which offers nine reservable relaxation pods with full-body massage chairs, nap chairs and even treatments from Grown-Alchemist certified therapists. The Serenity Lounge offers a calming quiet area for travelers, featuring a Rejuvenation Bar with non-alcoholic beverages.

Travelers can also freshen up at one of eight shower suites, which offer towels, bathrobes and slippers. A valet attendant also offers steaming and shining services for clothes.

Additionally, those who’d like to get some fresh air ahead of their flight or kick back and relax in between long connections can enjoy the Terrace, a lush outdoor oasis complete with a retractable roof to enjoy every day of the year.

While the JFK Delta One Lounge is the airline’s first Delta One-specific lounge of its kind, it will soon open new lounges at LAX and Boston Logan International airport later this year.

“Our teams have spared no detail to ensure Delta One Lounge guests receive a truly memorable experience,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience. “It’s a new era for Delta – this Lounge is raising the bar across the board, from the amenities to the food and beverage offerings to the level of personalized service. We want our guests to feel the difference here; moreover, we want them to feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step through the door.”
