Derek Carr injured during Saints game vs Giants: What happened and how long is he out?

The New Orleans Saints played the New York Giants on Sunday and at the end of the fourth quarter, Saints quarterback Derek Carr suffered an unfortunate injury.

What injury does Derek Carr have?

Carr was running the ball when he tried to leap over a few Giants defenders and landed hard on his left arm. At the same time, he also hit his head pretty hard against the turf.

He was taken off the field and into the Saints’ medical tent. He did not return to the game at MetLife Stadium. He is being evaluated for a concussion and may have suffered both a head and arm injury.
