Detroit Lions, New York Giants joint practice live updates: Day 1

The Detroit Lions will open up a pair of joint practices with the New York Giants for the second straight year on Monday morning.

Unfortunately, my flight to New Jersey was cancelled on Sunday night, so we won’t be able to provide you with our own observations from practices this week.

But fear not, there will be plenty of Detroit Lions content for you to consume both here and elsewhere. To help you navigate the journey that is Lions internet, we’ve collected on this site two Twitter lists that should be providing live updates.

First is our own curated Detroit Lions coverage Twitter list. You can click here to access that (if it doesn’t work, try to refresh the page). In short, it’s filled with Lions reporters on site who will be live tweeting throughout Monday and Tuesday’s practices.

Of course, there’s a whole different set of media on site for the practices as well. That’s why we’re keeping tabs on this Twitter list of Giants beat writers curated by the team itself. They’ll have an entirely different perspective on this Lions team, and that can be valuable to broaden the scope of what actually happening down in New Jersey.

Dan Campbell is expected to meet with the media at 9:30 a.m. ET, and practice will follow around 10 a.m. ET.

While we won’t be sharing our own observations of practice this week, we do plan on curating the most interesting reactions this week from both Detroit and New York media.

In the meantime, feel free to share your findings in the comment section below, and treat this as a live thread for practices.
