Eagles vs. Giants inactives

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Eagles are in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for a 1 PM clash with the Giants.

Cornerback Darius Slay is ACTIVE after not practicing on Thursday with a knee injury. Slay was a full participant on Friday and is good to go today alongside Quinyon Mitchell.

Jalen Carter (shoulder) and Milton Williams (ankle) will also be active after showing up on the injury report during the week.

With Dallas Goedert being listed as OUT, Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll are both active to help carry the load in Goedert’s absence.

“Grant has been everything we expected as a draft pick when we took him a couple years ago and then some,” Head Coach Nick Sirianni said earlier in the week. “He just keeps getting better.

“As bummed as I would be if Dallas is out, I’ll be really excited about his opportunity like he got last week. Yeah, I’m excited for him.”

Safety Sydney Brown is ACTIVE and will make his return at the site where he tore his ACL in Week 18 last season against the Giants.

Offensive lineman Jack Driscoll was also elevated to the active roster from the practice squad for today’s game for the second game in a row.

Cornerback Eli Ricks is OUT with a groin injury and defensive tackle Byron Young will have to wait another week to make his Eagles’ debut as he is OUT with a hamstring injury.

As for the Giants, defensive linemen Dexter Lawrence (hip) and linebacker Brian Burns (groin) are both ACTIVE and will play in the game today after being listed as questionable.

Jordan Mailata joined Giants’ left tackle Andrew Thomas on injured reserve this week, so both teams will be without their starting left guard in the matchup.

Wide receiver Malik Nabers will make his return after a two-game absence with a concussion.

Nabers has 35 receptions, 386 yards, and 3 touchdowns in four games this season as a rookie.
