Ella Emhoff walked the runway at Coach‘s spring 2025 show during New York Fashion Week on Monday.
The model, who recently sparked reignited interest in her fashion endeavors following her sartorial takes during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, has been making her rounds as a guest at other shows throughout NYFW.
Emhoff’s runway look captured a playful tourist vibe, featuring a custom “I Heart NY” T-shirt with yearbook and postcard-style signatures over a black leather mini skirt.
The ensemble also included a chain-link strap shoulder bag, a black blazer and matte black ballet flats, topped with a classic New York black baseball hat. She maintained her signature round glasses and slicked-back curls as she walked the cement runway.
Emhoff’s appearance on Coach’s runway marks another milestone in her burgeoning fashion career. Since signing a contract with IMG Models following President Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021, she has established herself as a pivotal fashion influence among Gen Z. Her runway debut came with Proenza Schouler’s fall 2021 ready-to-wear collection, and she has consistently returned to New York Fashion Week.
Emhoff was spotted on Sept. 3 at Proenza Schouler’s spring 2025 show, where she donned a knit cropped V-neck sweater vest and sheer knit maxiskirt, accessorized with Proenza loafers and a light blue handbag. She also made an appearance at the Susan Alexandra X Rachel Antonoff dog show, opting for a whimsical look featuring a white ruffled top and flowy black pants, complemented by a rainbow-colored knit purse.
Coach is known for mixing modern style with classic touches. Creative director Stuart Vevers mentioned that the spring 2025 collection focuses on “celebrating the energy of New York City and the spirit of its people.” The collection aims to capture the energy of the city that never sleeps, blending nostalgia with modern elements.
