Evening Briefing in Capital Region and HV: August 7
Good evening, Capital Region and Hudson Valley. We’re wrapping up the day for you with some of the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.
Your Weather Planner
Quiet weather continues tonight with increasing clouds and comfortable low temperatures.
Then heavy rain looks likely Friday afternoon and evening as remnant moisture from Debby moves into the region. Flood Alerts would likely be issued for the end of the week in our area.
Despite rain tapering off early Saturday, there could be lingering flood issues, so be weather aware. We’ll have a bit of a breeze Saturday as skies gradually clear and highs climb back to near 80.
We remain pleasant for Sunday with bright skies and highs in the upper-70s. Most areas stay dry with clouds and a shower mostly north and west later in the day.
