Famed broadcast journalist’s Hudson Valley home with 18-hole golf course, equestrian center for sale

Campbell Brown, the acclaimed broadcast journalist, and her husband, Dan Sensor, a columnist and author, have put their distinctive upstate New York home on the market for $12 million, The Post has learned.

Situated in the exclusive Silo Ridge Field Club, the home is part of a gated community in the scenic Hudson Valley, which boasts fewer than 300 residences. The area offers a serene retreat just two hours from New York City, complete with an 18-hole golf course and a world-class equestrian center.

Brown, who previously spearheaded global media partnerships at Meta, has an illustrious background as an American television news reporter and anchorwoman. She co-anchored NBC’s “Weekend Today” from 2003 to 2007 and hosted CNN’s prime-time news show “Campbell Brown” from 2008 to 2010.

Her sprawling 5,800-square-foot residence includes five bedrooms and seven baths, complemented by an additional 1,800 square feet of terrace space and a covered porch with idyllic lake views.

Features include a heated spa pool and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen with a stone fireplace and a patio equipped with electric heaters for year-round comfort.

Inside, the open floor plan is accentuated by sky-high ceilings and a modern kitchen with a striking waterfall island. The primary bedroom holds a marble wood-burning fireplace, while the expansive entertainment area boasts a billiards table and a wet bar.

Courtney Heisen and Jonathan Stein of Douglas Elliman hold the listing.

“Campbell’s loving attention to detail, discerning eye and impeccable taste is shown throughout the house, which she designed herself,” Heisen told The Post, adding that Campbell added a home office for her husband and the heated pool and spa which can be turned on remotely.
