Fatal NYC shooting on luxury store-lined block could have been botched robbery: sources

A 31-year-old man was fatally shot early Tuesday on a SoHo block lined with posh shops — during what appeared to have been a botched robbery, cops and sources said.

The man was shot in the right thigh on Greene Street near Broome Street — just outside the men’s luxury fashion store Stone Island — around 5:15 a.m., police said.

The gravely wounded man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
