Four-star Nortje leads SA’s World Cup charge as tough pitch raises eyebrows | Sport

South Africa got their T20 World Cup campaign off to a good start with a six-wicket win over Sri Lanka at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Monday, but the success was far from straightforward.

They bowled Sri Lanka out for 77, but needed the better part of 16.2 overs to chase down the target on what was a difficult surface that bounced prodigiously  and provided ample seam movement.
