Giants announce 100th Season Community Caravan
The New York Giants 100th Season Community Caravan, presented by Hackensack Meridian Health, is coming to a town near you.
To celebrate this historical milestone, the Caravan which features the 100th season logo and eight time world Champions branding, will make multiple visits to tri-state locations including schools, community centers, season ticket member homes, and much more leading up to the home opener on September 8th. The caravan will begin its journey today at Hackensack Meridian Health with Giants CEO & President John Mara, together with Hackensack Meridian Health CEO Bob Garrett unveiling a 100th season mural.
“We are especially honored to support the Giants 100th Season Community Caravan, which will bring the joy of football and the spirit of giving back to communities throughout the tri-state area,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “As the largest, most integrated health network in New Jersey, we understand the importance of investing in our communities and fostering a healthy future for all. We believe that the values of teamwork, perseverance, and dedication embodied by the Giants are essential for building strong and vibrant communities. To acknowledge the Giants’ formation date of August 1,1925, Hackensack Meridian Health will welcome the next generation of fans by releasing a special 100th Season swaddle for newborn babies this season. The Giants will surprise one family with a special gift. The 100th Season swaddle, to celebrate the newest Giants fans since day one/birth, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Hackensack Meridian Health hospitals with labor and delivery units.
To thank the staff for their commitment to the community, the Giants will provide an array of food trucks, tailgate games and youth focused activities to engage with the staff and patients. Giants’ legends Phil Simms and Justin Tuck will be on hand with the Super Bowl trophy alongside the Giants Drumline.
“We are thrilled to show our support and appreciation to the employees of HMH who are always on call for our fans and community members,” said Allison Stangeby, Vice President of Community Relations, New York Giants. “The New York Giants are proud that this community has been our home for the last 100 years and we are thankful to Hackensack Meridian Health for being such a wonderful partner of so many initiatives.
