Giants at Eagles: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 18 game
NFL Overreactions Week 17
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon breaks down this weeks NFL matchups.
Sports Seriously
The Philadelphia Eagles are locked into the NFC’s No. 2 seed. The New York Giants are locked out of the playoffs. Theoretically, neither team will be very invested in this weekend’s contest. However, these teams hate each other, and do you really think the Giants will let their former running back Saquon Barkley break the NFL rushing record against them? No way.
We saw last week that even though the Giants may be out of the running for the playoffs, they aren’t dead in the water. Drew Lock and company can still do some damage, and boy would they love a repeat performance against their division rivals.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this NFC East showdown.

Cardinals vs. 49ers | Falcons vs. Panthers | Ravens vs. Browns | Cowboys vs. Commanders | Broncos vs. Chiefs | Lions vs. Vikings | Packers vs. Bears | Colts vs. Jaguars | Rams vs. Seahawks | Raiders vs. Chargers | Patriots vs. Bills | Jets vs. Dolphins | Eagles vs. Giants | Steelers vs. Bengals | Buccaneers vs. Saints | Titans vs. Texans
Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 25, Giants 10
This is one where it might make more sense to wait a bit to see if Philadelphia’s coaches indicate how much starters will play, especially if Saquon Barkley will get his shot to break the single-season rushing record. In any case, I’d rather comfortably take Philadelphia.
Richard Morin: Eagles 20, Giants 10
It doesn’t sound like Saquon Barkley will get a chance to break the NFL’s single-season rushing record. That’s a shame, but the Eagles will top the Giants regardless.
Jordan Mendoza: Giants 17, Eagles 14
The only thing to watch is whether Saquon gets the rushing record. Other than that, expect the Eagles to be fine losing to the Giants.
