Giants waive WR Isaiah Hodgins

The New York Giants have waived wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins as a part of their final cut down.

Hodgins, 25, was initially drafted out of Oregon State in the sixth round of the 2020 draft by the Buffalo Bills. He was claimed by the Giants off of waivers from the Bills in November of 2022 and quickly carved out a role for himself in the Giants’ offense. He became Daniel Jones’ most reliable receivers in 2022 and 2023, using his size and precise route running to consistently get open in the reworked passing offense the Giants rode to the playoffs.
