Gigi and Bella Hadid bookend the runway for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024

Sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid kicked off and closed out the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, NY on Tuesday.

All eyes were on Gigi, 29, as she opened the first runway show for the lingerie and women’s fashion brand in six years.

She ascended from underneath the runway in a silky pink teddy that featured a plunging neckline.

She paired the look with silver strappy heels and extra-large hoop earrings, waving at the crowd in what was apparently a move taught to the mom of one by BFF Taylor Swift.

And Gigi’s look was, of course, finished with enormous pink wings that she sheathed once she reached the end of the runway.

Bella, 28, strutted down the catwalk rocking a lacy red bra and panties set as she closed out the show.

Her sensual look was completed with an over-the-top red and black feather coat and matching heels.

Her show-closing appearance came after Bella took an extended break from her modeling career to focus on her mental health and Lyme disease struggles. However, the younger sister is officially back in the saddle, hitting the runway for Saint Laurent last month and ending her two-year hiatus from the runway.

This is the fourth time both sisters have walked in the Victoria’s Secret show, with Gigi making her debut in 2015 and Bella wearing her wings for the first time in 2016.

The Guest In Residence founder’s appearance marked her Victoria’s Secret modeling return since giving birth to her daughter, Khai, in 2020. She shares her daughter with ex-partner Zayn Malik.

Gigi celebrated her return ahead of the event, sharing a slideshow of throwback photos on Instagram with her sister and fellow model friend Kendall Jenner.

“The @victoriassecret Show is BACK tomorrow night ! !” she wrote on Instagram Monday.

“LIVE at 7pm EST on @primevideo (+ YouTube, insta, tiktok) and after today’s rehearsal I can confirm that it will forever feel like a dream come true.”

She continued, “Looking back on some of my favorite VS show moments over the years and I’m so excited to do it again tomorrow, with the most incredible, dedicated, creative VS Team & with so many women I love and some I grew up watching.”

The official Victoria’s Secret Instagram account commented, “It’s all happening ❤️❤️❤️.”

Gigi also shared a video to her Instagram Story while driving over the Brooklyn Bridge, writing, “It’s a perfect day for a Victoria’s Secret show!”

Notably absent from the audience on Tuesday was Gigi’s boyfriend, Bradley Cooper. However, she confirmed that he was supporting her from afar.

“He’s watching from home tonight. He’s on dad duty, but so supportive,” she told ET of Cooper, who shares daughter Lea De Seine, 7, with ex-partner Irina Shayk.

Shayk, 38, also walked the runway along with top models Tyra Banks, Ashley Graham, Adriana Lima, and Taylor Hill.

Meanwhile, Cher put on a stellar headlining performance and “Water” singer Tyla and K-Pop star Lisa also hit the stage.
