Golf’s Ironman visits Central New York

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR) — Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club hosted the Break the Bank Shootout on Monday as a way for top senior male and female golfers in Central New York to win money by playing golf.

The players got an exclusive presentation as well as seven-time Guinness World Record holder, Bob Kurtz, swung by the event to play and speak to golfers. Kurtz is known as “Golf’s Ironman” because of his record breaking game and impressive resume.

Kurtz has shot his age seven times in one day as well as completing 1,850 holes of golf in seven days. The Guinness World Record holder spoke to us about what the game has given to him.
