Horse Racing: Glens Falls Stakes Offshore Odds, Preview, and Picks – The Latest Sports Betting News

The graded action on a stacked weekend at Saratoga gets underway on Thursday, as the G2 Glens Falls Stakes is staged. This contest will be run by fillies and mares aged four and older, with a total distance of 1 1/2 miles covered. You can find the latest odds and picks here.

Before Betting On Glens Falls Stakes

The Glens Falls Stakes will be the featured race on the card at Saratoga on Thursday, as the high-quality action kicks off at the Spa in style. This race has been staged annually since 1996, with a field of fillies and mares competing for their share of the $250,000 purse.

It has been a Grade Two affair since 2018, with William Mott being the most successful trainer in the race’s history with seven victories. However, Chad Brown showcased his dominance on the turf last year in this race with McKulick landing victory.

History could repeat itself this weekend, as McKulick appears to be the runner to beat. The five-year-old was the winner of the G3 Orchid Stakes earlier this year, before running solid enough races at the highest level, which included a fifth-place finish in the G1 New York Stakes.

Chop Chop is well worth his shot in this company on Thursday after landing the G3 Bewitch Stakes for Brad Cox earlier this season. He was last seen finishing second in the G3 Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes, and another bold bid is likely back up in grade for leading connections.
