Josh Allen’s 12-3 squad clinched their fifth consecutive AFC East title on Dec. 1 and are still in the running for the No. 1-seed in the Conference, which would guarantee home-field advantage throughout the postseason unless they face the Chiefs.

In any event, Buffalo needs to stay hyper-focused entering week 17. The last time Sean McDermott’s Bills took the field against the Jets on Oct. 14, they narrowly escaped with a 23-20 victory. Sunday is no time to let their guard down as New York tries to play the spoiler. The fact that Allen had a rough game against the Patriots last week and may be injured — his non-throwing hand has been fractured all season — doesn’t help either.
