The New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets are set to face on Sunday in NBA preseason action.
Last year, the Knicks went 50-32 and earned the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference but lost in the conference semifinals to the Pacers in seven games.
As for Charlotte, the team went 21-61 and missed out on the postseason for the eighth season in a row.

The Hornets hired Charles Lee as the team’s new head coach this offseason. The team enters the year with plenty of question marks and a young roster. LaMelo Ball averaged 23.9 points per game last season for Charlotte and will look to take another step forward this season for the team. Ball also added 8.0 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game in the 2023-24 campaign.
