The New York Knicks go into their second game of the 2024 season looking for their first victory, when the Indiana Pacers come to Madison Square Garden Friday night. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage on TNT and streaming on-demand.

The Knicks had a tall order in the 2024 season opener, traveling to Boston and falling to the defending NBA champion Celtics (132-109). New York made a splash in the offseason by acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he was limited to 24 minutes in the opener but delivered 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a blowout that began early with a 43-point scoring barrage by Boston in the first quarter.

On the other side, the Pacers are off to a 1-0 start after their bench accounted for 46 points in a 115-109 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Center Myles Turner (20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks) and forward Pascal Siakam (19 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists) had big nights in the win.
