About the matchup:
The Patriots are coming into this game (and season as a whole) with a new head coach following longtime coach Bill Belicheck’s departure and a new starting quarterback in Jacoby Brissett.
The Jets have only beaten the Patriots three times since the 2011 season, and two of those games went to overtime. The last time the Jets beat the Patriots at home was in 2015.
This week, the Jets are hoping for a return to form for their defense, which has been struggling throughout the first two games of the season despite spending most of last season looking like a top-10 defense.
