New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), the focus has gradually shifted towards the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 as the ICC’s deadline for final submission of squads draws near. 11:59 PM GST on May 1 (1:29 AM IST on May 2) is the deadline for final squad submission. Meanwhile, New Zealand became the first team to announce their 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The June 1-29 event will be held in USA and West Indies where 20 teams will be vying for the coveted title. England are the defending champions, having won the title in 2022, beating Pakistan in final. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan encounter will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9.
