Iman Shumpert on defending Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce with New York Knicks
It is never going to be an easy game when your assignment just so happens to be one of the most clutch players in the history of the NBA. But that is the card that former NBAer Iman Shumpert drew as a New York Knicks player many years ago during a playoff series between the Knicks and the Celtics that went down back in 2013.
Speaking in a recent guest appearance on the “7 PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony” podcast, Shumpert told the eponymous host and others present about the time he had to guard Paul Pierce as a Knicks wing, relating the successes and challenges he had trying to cover The Truth.
