India vs Pakistan: Know the mind-boggling ticket charges to witness the marquee T20 World Cup clash in New York

New Delhi: The T20 World Cup 2024 is up and running as 20 teams battle it out for the coveted ICC trophy for almost a month across the USA and the West Indies. While numerous clashes will be taking place until June 29, all eyes are already glued to upcoming India vs Pakistan encounter from Group A, scheduled on June 9 at the brand-new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The clash between the two arch-nemesis is known to transcend boundaries as fans rejoice to watch the two neighbours play and the fact has historically remained the same. The fierce rivalry is garnering excitement among cricket fans across the world and the stadium is expected to be at its full capacity on Sunday when the Men in Blue will face the Men in Green.

While several fans will be travelling to New York from across the world for the momentous clash if you are looking to book a seat in the New York stadium, the prices might let you think twice – if it’s much better to watch it on your TV with the comfort of your home. The ICC have revealed all the prices with categories for the epic battle and the tickets are already up on sale on the ICC website.

The make-shift stadium boasts a capacity of 34,000 people and with less than a week left for the highly-anticipated contest, the costings are increasing day by day.

According to the ICC online ticketing window, a total of six hospitality packages are made available at the venue in New York. These are Premium Club Lounges, Diamond Club, Cabanas, Pavilion Club, Boundary Club and Corner Club. But all that’s available for the India vs Pakistan game are three of these –

Diamond Club

According to the ICC, the Diamond Club is the “jewel” of the ground. It is the most expensive of all the packages where fans get a luxurious view of matches with the seats being placed right behind the wicket. With the air-conditioning facility, the guests will get access to meet legends of the game and pre-match field access as well. They will also get access to high-quality food and beverages.

Price: There are four categories in the Diamond Club and every single ticket in each category is priced a whopping $10,000 (Rs. 8,34,323).

Corner Club

The Corner Club will provide an “intimate and exclusive” feeling to watch the match. Only a total of 92 guests can be accommodated per corner and the club also offers an outdoor buffet and a bar.

Price: Among the four corner clubs, fans can book any with each ticket priced at a hefty $2,750 (Rs 2,29,413).

Premium Club Lounges

The premium club lounges are present at the North and South pavillions, located right behind the wickets. The lounge provides an amazing view of the track and apart from the regular food and beverages, options of alcohol are also available.

Price: There are nine categories of Premium Club Lounges and a ticket in each category will charge $2,500 (Rs 2,08,585).
