NBA player props from DraftKings on May 14.
Brunson, who scored just 18 points in 31 minutes in Game 4, has a game-high 33.5 point total in Game 5 on Tuesday. Brunson had scored at least 39 points in five straight games before Game 2 of this series. But the Knicks superstar has been held to 29 or fewer in the last three, averaging 24.3 PPG in that span. Haliburton leads the Pacers at 20.5 O/U. The Pacers’ All-Star scored 34 and 35 in Games 2 and 3 before an efficient 20 on 8-of-15 shooting in 28 minutes in Game 4.
Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks Game 5 Predictions
The Pacers were close in both Games 1 and 2 at MSG. They held a sizable halftime lead in both games but couldn’t close down the stretch. The difference between these teams’ ceilings was on full display in Game 4. Indiana has one of the most-dynamic offenses in the NBA, while the Knicks rely on shutdown defense and Jalen Brunson.
The Knicks have a superb home-court advantage at MSG, and it proved the difference during the first two games of the series. But I expect the young, less-experienced Pacers to better handle the hostile environment in Game 5, now that they’ve already faced it twice.
IND vs NYK Game 5 picks:
- Pacers moneyline (+110)
- Haliburton over 20.5 points (-125)
- Burks under 9.5 (-122)
