Injury Update: Malik Nabers ruled out for Week 5 vs. Seahawks
Rookie Malik Nabers, who leads the NFL in catches and ranks second in receiving yards through four weeks, will not play in the Giants’ Week 5 road game against the Seahawks, coach Brian Daboll announced before Friday’s practice.
The sixth overall pick remains in the NFL concussion protocol and will not travel with the team to Seattle.
Daboll also said cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson (calf) and Dru Phillips (calf) are “trending in the right direction.” Friday’s practice will also be important for running back Devin Singletary (groin). Daboll said they will put him through some drills and make the decision after that.
