Is Jordan Poole Playing Tonight vs Knicks? Wizards Injury Report, Depth Chart, and More
The Wizards are having another forgettable season. They have only won five games so far and have the worst record in the East. Their most recent loss came against the Knicks on Saturday. Well, they are hoping to get some redemption tonight as they face Jalen Brunson and Co. once again for a rematch. However, things are not looking in the Wizards’ favor as their superstar Jordan Poole continues to highlight the injury report.
Yes, Poole could miss his second straight game as he is questionable for tonight. The reason? A bruised left hip. Obviously, his absence would be a massive blow for the already struggling team because Poole has clearly been their best player, averaging 21.3 points and five assists. Moreover, Poole has been in incredible form lately and even hit an insane game winner against the Hornets in his most recent appearance.
The timing of Poole’s injury could not have been worse because Kyle Kuzma is expected to make his return tonight after missing twelve straight games due to a rib injury. And just when Wizards fans thought their two stars would finally play together, Poole’s status could delay that hope yet again. Apart from Poole, the Wizards might also have to play without other key players. Marvin Bagley III (knee) and Saddiq Bey (knee) are likely to remain out as they are still recovering.

Meanwhile, Anthony Gill could miss his sixth straight game as he is questionable due to a nasal contusion. So, it could be another tough night for the Wizards.
Wizards and Knicks’ Depth Chart
With Poole and Kuzma’s availability uncertain, this is what the Wizards’ depth chart looks like:
Position | Starters | 2nd | 3rd |
PG | Jordan Poole (Q) | Malcolm Brogdon | Jared Butler |
SG | Carlton Carrington | Corey Kispert | Johnny Davis |
SF | Bilal Coulibaly | Kyshawn George | Patrick Baldwin Jr. |
PF | Kyle Kuzma | Justin Champagnie | Anthony Gill (Q) |
C | Alexandre Sarr | Jonas Valanciunas | Richaun Holmes |
Obviously, if the two superstars play, they will take back their spot in the starting lineup. However, in case either one is unavailable, Malcolm Bragdon is likely to start the game while Johnny Davis and Carlton Carrington could see significant increase in playing time.

Yes, Jalen Brunson is questionable to suit up due to right calf tightness. Well, he played a major role in his team’s victory over the Wizards this weekend as he went off for 55 points. And his absence would surely give the Wizards confidence about their winning chances. Adding to the concern, Mitchell Robinson (foot) and Kevin McCullar (knee) are also out for tonight.
If Brunson does not play, all eyes will be on Karl-Anthony Towns because he has been in incredible form since moving to New York, averaging 24.5 points and nearly fourteen rebounds. However, Wizards will fancy their chances if both Poole and Kuzma make a return. Whose side are you on?
