Is Karl-Anthony Towns’ fit on the New York Knicks good enough to worry the Boston Celtics?

Is the fit for Karl-Anthony Towns on the New York Knicks good enough to worry the Boston Celtics this season? Will Towns and his new ball club need some time to adjust to their respective playing styles, or will they hit the ground running out of the gate? A lot of their success in the campaign to come (and how much of a threat they end up being to the Celtics) may well depend on how well (and soon) this new-look Knicks squad meshes.

Not too long after the deal was announced, Boston Globe beat writer Gary Washburn took some time to break down his view of the trade with the eponymous cohost of the CLNS Media “Cedric Maxwell” podcast.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about the KAT fit in New York, the challenges he will face in the Big Apple, and plenty more.
