Why: For the first time ever, J.Crew has teamed up with Araks on a limited-edition capsule collection of lingerie. The assortment combines J.Crew’s classic silhouettes with Araks’s range of bold colors and luxe materials. The partnership also marks a return to the retailer for Araks designer Araks Yeramyan, who was a former member of J.Crew’s in-house design team.
Louis Vuitton Brings Back Its Takashi Murakami Collaboration

Why: To celebrate the 20-year collaboration between Louis Vuitton and renowned artist Takashi Murakami, Louis Vuitton has released an extensive re-edition of the iconic collaboration, available to shop now. The collection contains more than 200 pieces, all emblazoned with Murakami’s signature take on the LV logo. The pieces vary from small leather goods to travel luggage, so there’s something for everyone.
Fendi Releases Lunar New Year Collection

Why: To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year on January 29, Fendi dropped a new capsule with nods to the Chinese zodiac. The collection includes both menswear and womenswear, with pieces ranging from sweaters and skirts to leather goods—the latter of which come adorned with the brand’s trademark “Monster Eye” motif. Chinese tastemakers Cheng Xiao and brand ambassador Xu Kai star in the campaign.
Trove Names New Designer in Residence

Why: Fine jewelry designer Pamela Zamore will be January’s Designer in Residence at the recently opened Trove storefront in New York City’s West Village. For the uninitiated, Trove, a premium jewelry box brand, started the program in conjunction with its November store opening as a chance to highlight independent designers each month. Zamore’s 18-karat yellow gold pieces have been worn by the likes of Angelina Jolie and Demi Moore and are beloved for their heirloom weightiness, with modern details. Zamore is also a finalist for the Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award. Trove’s curation of Pamela Zamore jewelry will be available to shop in-store through the end of the month.
Saint Laurent Opens New Store in Miami
