Jalen Brunson Fires Shots Against 76ers Owners’ Bizarre Move To Maintain Home Advantage vs Knicks

The intense battle that was the Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks has come to a tantalizing finish! The Sixers stayed close on the heels of the Knicks, but they became the better team with a 118-115 victory at the former’s home court. Not an ideal situation for Philly, but there can only be one winner.

But in somewhat of a hilarious and sweet revenge, Knicks superstar, Jalen Brunson, didn’t forget to take a shot at Sixers owner, Michael Rubin, for his dig at New York. The Fanatics CEO tweeted that he bought over 2,000 tickets so that Knicks fans wouldn’t take over the Wells Fargo Center. The tickets that he had bought were given to “first responders, healthcare professionals, and other local Philadelphia-based organizations.”

Brunson, talking to reporters after the game, said, “I’m just glad we got enough Knicks fans here. They didn’t buy all the tickets!” Well, sweet comeback!

The leading stars of both teams were brutal and determined tonight. Jalen Brunson put up a dominant 41 points, three rebounds and 12 assists to cap the night. His partner-in-crime, Donte DiVincenzo, had a stat line of 23 points, four rebounds, and seven assists. Josh Hart also rose to the occasion and did his part. He had a double-double for the team – 16 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.

As for the 76ers, Joel Embiid gave his best postseason performance. He finished the night with the only double-double in the team – 39 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey contributed 17 points and five assists and rebounds each.
