Jets RB1 Breece Hall’s practice status should concern fantasy managers | Sporting News
It’s crunch time in the fantasy football world.
Whether it’s the regular season finale or the first week of the playoffs, fantasy managers are facing must-win scenarios, and those invested in New York Jets‘ running back Breece Hall may be disappointed.
The Jets are in danger of being without their RB1 when they visit the Miami Dolphins on December 8. Hall has missed back-to-back practices due to a knee injury that also gave him trouble last week.
“Not worse for the wear. It’s just, a little bit of last week,” said interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich on Wednesday. “We’re hopeful, he’s hopeful. He thinks he’s going to play, so we’ll see how the week goes.”
Hall is lagging behind last week’s pace when he upgraded his status each day by going from DNP to limited to full leading up to the December 1 home game against the Seattle Seahawks.
“Last week we didn’t’ know,” said Ulbrich. “He got out there Friday and looked fantastic, so I’m hopeful we’ll have the same scenario.”
Hall earned the start in Week 13 as the Jets came out in a two RB set. He was on the field for 62 percent of the offensive snaps. Hall rushed 12 times for 60 yards and was unsuccessfully targeted only once as a receiver in the 26-21 loss.

The 23-year-old Hall has totaled 1,093 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns thus far in 2024.
Rookies Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis figure to absorb the bulk of the workload should Hall be unavailable in Week 14.
