According to the official website of TGL, the New York Golf Club’s majority owners are Cohen Private Ventures or CPV with Andrew B. Cohen leading the investments. He and his fellow CPV associates Terri Oronzio, Brian Reilly, Shelly Singh-Camargo, and Billy Meditz manage the business side of things for the club. However, the primary owner of the club is Steven A. Cohen.

To ensure the club has enough resources and capital, the CPV team has also brought in Zach Feldman from the Oak View Group and Andy Goldberg, and Brenden Mallette from the New York Mets. The famed baseball team association manages the sports-related responsibilities of the New York Golf Club.

The TGL team also has limited partners who bring in their knowledge and experience from various verticals. Apart from the primary investors, the New York Golf Club has also attained funding from the likes of Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, CC Sabathia, Michael Strahan, John McEnroe, and Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon had also invited the foursome of Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, and Cameron Young to The Tonight Show a few weeks ago. Fallon, who is also the host of the show; questioned them about the intricate details of the tournament and what the fans can expect to see during the events.
