Knicks now series underdogs against Pacers entering Game 5
The Knicks are running on fumes as the Pacers have all the momentum in their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup.
And now the Knicks find themselves as underdogs to advance.
With the series tied at 2-all entering Tuesday’s critical Game 5, the Knicks have fallen to +106 on FanDuel to win the series. They were as high as -660 favorites after they took the first two games.
But two losses in Indiana, including an embarrassing 121-89 loss in Game 4, plus O.G. Anunoby’s absence have oddsmakers believing the Pacers will win two of the next three.
Indiana winning the series in six games is now the most likely outcome with +185 odds, while the Knicks winning the series in six has the lowest odds at +370.
The Knicks are still favored in Game 5, though, laying 2.5 points at Madison Square Garden. Indiana has +114 moneyline odds.
The Knicks should be looking to get out to a hot start in Game 5, as they’ve been plagued by slow starts throughout the series.
Tom Thibodeau’s bunch has been outscored in the first half in all four games, losing the first 24 minutes by six, 10, five and 28 points, respectively.
The Knicks won the second half in each of the first two games, outscoring the Pacers 139-108.

Away from Broadway, the Knicks have played mostly even in the second half, tying the second half in Game 3, 48-48, and losing the second half in Game 4, 52-48.
That Game 4 tally can be taken with a grain of salt since both teams had benched their starters.
Betting on the NBA?
It’s tough to be positive right now if you’re the Knicks, but as The Post’s Mike Vaccaro pointed out the Knicks faithful will need to carry them, perhaps no more important than early in games.
