Knicks’ OG Anunoby: Healthy heading into camp

Anunoby (hamstring) is healthy ahead of training camp, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Anunoby suffered a hamstring injury during the Knicks‘ postseason run and missed four straight contests before admirably trying to play in a Game 7 loss to the Pacers. However, the veteran did not look like himself and lasted only five minutes before getting subbed out. The offseason has treated Anunoby well from a health and financial standpoint. He’s expected to be full go at training camp and inked a five-year $212.5 million extension. The Knicks made a splash by signing Mikal Bridges this offseason plus Anunoby and Jalen Brunson (hand) are healthy following an injury-riddled postseason, but it’s not all blue skies in New York. Isaiah Hartenstein left for Oklahoma City, Mitchell Robinson (ankle) won’t be ready until December or January and Julius Randle is still rehabbing from shoulder surgery ahead of training camp.
