Knicks re-sign Precious Achiuwa to bolster team’s depth

The Knicks are bringing back one of their big men.

Precious Achiuwa re-signed with the Knicks on Tuesday, the team announced in a press release.

He is coming back to New York on a one-year, $6 million deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Acquired from the Raptors in the same deal that landed the Knicks OG Anunoby, Achiuwa, a 6-foot-8 power forward/center, averaged 7.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game over 49 contests in New York.

The Knicks had already lost one of their key big men from last season after Isaiah Harteinstein inked a deal with the Thunder this offseason.
