After a brief stay in New York, Morris was traded to the Clippers as part of a multi-team deal that brought Mo Harkless to the Knicks.

Since then, Morris has had stints with the Clippers, 76ers, and Cavaliers, including an impactful postseason appearance for Cleveland in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, where he played in nine games, starting one.

Depth Chart and Impact

Morris will be vying for a role within a Knicks lineup that features notable talent such as Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and Mikal Bridges. If Morris makes the final roster, he could provide veteran leadership and shooting ability, having shot 40.3% from beyond the arc during his time with Philadelphia and Cleveland last season.

With Morris joining the Knicks, the team’s depth chart for the 2024-25 season is shaping up. Brunson leads the point guard rotation, backed by Cameron Payne and Miles McBride.
